A huge congratulations to Bruce Johnson who recently won the Club Doubles Winter Ladder Championship for 2023/2024, presented by Mark Bundy, Club Welfare Officer. 

Bruce said that he was really pleased to defend the winter ladder title from the year before and get his name engraved on the Phil Ingram Shield once again.

Bruce had said, “Phil Ingram, the previous club coach at Alsager Tennis Club was a really great bloke and I’m so pleased that his memory lives on at the club.” “Towards  the end of the ladder, I certainly felt the pressure from Jason, Gary and Alan in the final month along with strong competition from my division 1 each month.”

Bruce thanked Ian Craig and Mark Bundy along with the rest of the ladder committee for organising this great inter club event.
