Safeguarding

Say something if you see something, doing nothing is NOT an option so if you see something of concern please do report it.

Alsager Tennis Club is here to offer a safe and inclusive environment for everyone to enjoy tennis.  We are fully committed to the safety and the well-being of all who play, volunteer and support tennis while implementing the highest safeguarding standards across tennis in line with the LTA Safeguarding Strategy.

As a club we contribute actively to enable more people to play tennis more often, in a manner that it is always safe, inclusive, and fair. This applies regardless of a person’s age, their disability, gender reassignment status, sex, marital or civil partnership status, pregnancy or maternity, race, sex, sexual orientation, religion, race or sexual orientation, socio-economic status or any other background.

LTA Safeguarding Standards

As a registered club with the governing body of tennis in Britain, it is the LTA’s duty to promote the safety of all and for Alsager Tennis Club to meet the minimum safeguarding standards.

These LTA standards are assessed every 2 years by a LTA Regional Safeguarding Officer. To be eligible for LTA registration, venues must achieve  these standards.
