Summer Doubles Ladder.
June 1st - October 31st
Jun, Jul, Aug, Sep, Oct
If you would like to play some friendly yet competitive tennis, why not come and join our in-house Club Ladder Mini League.
The ladder is open to all adult and junior members (13-18yrs) and aims to be a friendly way to play matches outside of clubnight. The Doubles Ladder League is a friendly in house club competition, and a fantastic way to meet other members whilst playing a greater diversity of opponents.
Our Doubles ladder is an excellent opportunity to improve your game and expand your social network within the club. The ladder program is gender neutral…both men and women are encouraged to join and you will be ranked in a division according to your skill level.
Joining The Ladder
If you are interested in joining the ladder or want to find out more, please contact our Club Ladder secretary - Phil Stow on;
email: alsagerltctournaments@gmail.com
You can join the Ladder at any time during the month but be sure to sign up before the 30th of the month to ensure that you will be included in the next month's ladder. If you join the ladder after the new Ladder Boxes are published via email (on the 1st of the month), you will have to wait until the 1st of the next month to begin play. When you do begin play, you will be placed in a division in the Ladder with other players of a similar skill level. The point of a Tennis Ladder is to give everyone competitive matches and placing new players according to their playing level will ensure this.
Ladder Divisions
Click on the blue drop down menu above to view the Summer Ladder Divisions and see which players you have to play with.
This Ladder document will be emailed to all players at the start of each month by the Ladder Secretary.
Ladder Divisions are in groups of 4 players and can be added within the current divisions at the discretion of the ladder secretary. This is solely based upon the player's ability.
Remember that the point of the Tennis Ladder is to play competitively against people who are of your own playing level. It is not about winning trophies (and in this case there are none). It is about having fun, competition & meeting new people of similar playing level.
Point totals, as of the end of the previous month, will be posted on the website and emailed so you can keep an eye on where your competitors are ranked!
Ladder Winners
At the end of March, the player with the most games won overall and the least number of losses (irrespective of their finishing positions in their divisions) will be crowned Winter Doubles Champion.
Let’s get this new Ladder buzzing with players and abilities, I wonder who will be the Champion this winter?
