Well, another season approaches for our club league teams competing in the City & Suburban league. 2023 was a fantastic season for all of our Alsager tennis club teams especially for our C team, under the diligent captaincy of Richard Dale. 

April 23rd 2023 saw the start for all divisions, Alsager C getting off to a strong start with their first two matches: Alsager C beating Alsager D and Draycott C both yielding a 4-0 win for the C team. Next up was Florence E and a 2-2 draw, the team were buzzing with confidence and they managed amazing 4-0 wins against Leek E, Stone E, Draycott B and Leek D.

Mid June and 7 games under their belt, Alsager C played Endon C with a 2-2 draw, still no losses. What an achievement!

Game 9 sees our C team competing against their home rivals Alsager D, another win for the C team 3-1.

We’re half way through the season and 8 games to go. The C Team rollercoaster of wins continue by beating Draycott C 4-0, a draw against Florence E 2-2, wins at Leek E 4-0, Stone E 4-0 for Alsager C , a draw against Draycott B 2-2, Leek D 3-1 win. 

The last match of the season was against Endon C, finishing the season exactly how they started with another 4-0.
