On Sunday April 2 nd eighteen eager tennis ladies took part in a tennis competition put on by Caroline Lumley and Kaye Darling.
It entailed four rounds of fast paced tennis lasting 20 minutes. After each round each player picked a random new partner and played against a different pair.
The competition started at 12 and finished mid afternoon with refreshments including a glass of bubbly.
The winner of the day was Emma James, in second place Dawn Goudge, third Debbie Blake, 4 th Sue Lyons.
Special welcome to Ashley Luger who is a new member and joined in this competition.

The next event is the American competition put on by Geoff and Lynne Allen and is on Sunday 30 th April it is a mixed doubles competition. More details to follow.
