Access to Benson Tennis Club Courts

• Once your membership fees have been paid in full and you have received the entrance gate lock number, you may use the courts at any time they are available.  
• Currently there is a  booking system in place.
• Club matches take priority over social games.
• While members are welcome to bring an occasional visitor to the club, no one may be admitted as a guest player on more than 4 occasions in any calendar year. Names and addresses of all visiting guests must be written down in the visitor’s book for insurance purposes.

Match Organisers

BTC encourages all members to play in competitive matches.  There are five senior teams in the winter and six teams in the Summer.

Match practice takes place on Wednesday evening’s 7.00pm to 10pm costs £1 each session or bring  new balls

Programme of Events

Members will receive emails about forthcoming events, but these will also be advertised via the website and the club house notice board. These include American tournaments, singles leagues, quiz nights and other fund raisers.

Wimbledon Tickets and the LTA membership

All members need to be a British tennis member as part of the rules of the club. It is free to join and is part of the LTA: https://www.lta.org.uk/member/

A number of Wimbledon tickets are allocated to the Club by the LTA on an annual basis.  A ballot is held at the AGM each year to allocate these tickets.  You will be notified of the date of the ballot via the email newsletter, the club house notice board and the website.

To be eligible to enter the ballot you must be a member of Benson Tennis Club, Member of British Tennis and have “opted in” to the ballot
