Saturday 2 July saw 18 participants enjoy an American Tournament in near perfect weather conditions. Visitors from other clubs are always welcome to come and take part and this event was no different.

After 5 rounds, each consisting of 8 games of tennis, the usual excellent tea ensued, while the tournament organiser worked out who had won. This weeks tournament saw prizes for mens and ladies 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions - the eventual winners Kate Smith (from Beccles Tennis Club) and our very own Jason Eves. Wine for the winners and gooseberries for 2nd and 3rd positions (topped and tailed no less!).
