Blofield Mixed team played the league leaders, Southwold Tennis Club, last weekend to contest pole position.

Anne Jarrettt and Robbie Clarke, played the number 1 pairing, who were both strong opponents and with some great teamwork, Blofield secured a win 2 sets to 0. Meanwhile, Colin and Dawn dominated their match and also secured a 2 sets to 0 win. 

The Men then had a tough tussle in the first set against their opponents, winning the tiebreak 7-3 . The ladies had managed to secure a swifter win of their first set, but with the men accelerating to a 6-0 win in their second set, the pairs both finished at about the same time. 

The final result was an 8-0 win to Blofield taking them to the top of the division.......for the time being!
