Sunday saw the Blofield Mixed Team of Karen, Sandra, Jason and Barnaby play the final Winter League match for 2023/4 against Aylsham B. The match would decide who comes second in Division 5 and win promotion to Division 4 next time around. Bungay had already won enough games to win Division 5 before the final match.
The match was tight with the score in sets 3 - 1 in favour of Blofield after the mixed matches. The same sex results saw Barnaby and Jason win 2 - 0, and with Sandra and Karen losing 0-2 the final result was a win for Blofield 5 sets to 3.
Well done to everyone in the team squad and we can now look forward to playing in Division 4 later this year.

The Summer team league entries for the Mens Team in Division 4 and the Ladies Team in Division 3 have now been submitted. An email will follow when the dates are known to provide details and the chance to register your interest in playing in a Blofield Team. In the meantime, Team Practise continues on Sunday mornings to help prepare for this years leagues.
