Centenary Day Summary

We have already had some great feedback from guests and members about last Saturdays Centenary Celebrations and hope that you all enjoyed the tennis, stalls, high tea, quiz, Centenary booklet, memorabillia display, singing and of course the dancing.

The Centenary sub committee did a fantastic job pulling it all together and there was a huge amount of work that went into planning, preparing and setting up (and putting away afterwards) to deliver a remarkable event . Members and family members all pitched in to ensure things ran as planned.

A HUGE WELL DONE TO ALL.

There is a summary of the day on the website Centenary Event page (click here), so have a look and keep checking it out for new photos, as they arrive.

If you could not attend and would like to purchase a copy of the Centenary Booklet, details of how these can be ordered can be found on the Centenary page of our website (click here).

If you have some nice photos of the event, please share them with us so that we can include them on the building collage to help keep the webpage fresh - you can send them in for inclusion by email to (click here)

If you enjoyed yourself and want to record a comment, please send it in by the same email.

The next big one is the bicentenial in June 2124, so mark it in your grandchildrens diaries - its going to be a another big one!
