Welcome to Boldon Lawn Tennis Club - Club of The Year 2018
Boldon Lawn Tennis Club D&C LTA Club of the Year 2018 is a members only club which has been in the heart of Boldon since 1886. We are in the centre of the village with 6 outside courts, 3 of which are floodlit, and a well-equipped clubhouse.
We offer tennis for all ages from mini players up to seniors tennis. If it's competitive tennis you’re after, we have mens, ladies and mixed teams in the Northumberland & Durham league and we also compete in the Aegon Tennis league. There’s organised social tennis for all members on Sunday mornings between 10.30am and 12pm, ladies' team practice from 6.30pm on Thursdays and men's team practice on Wednesdays between 6.30 and 8pm, (until the matches are underway in May) as well as regular club tournaments throughout the year.
There’s a wide range of tennis for our juniors too, with a comprehensive junior coaching programme, led by our Head Coach Hannah Murdy, and the opportunity to play in a variety of competitions.
We also have regular social events at the clubhouse for both juniors and adults.

Open Day Sat 12th April
Do you know anyone who is thinking about giving tennis a try? Why not suggest they come along to our Open Day between 10am and 2.30pm? There’ll be fun activities for young and old(er) as well as membership and coaching offers. There will be tots and junior tennis as well as family play, adult beginner and cardio tennis slots. Spread the word amongst family and friends and encourage them to book their slot here as places are limited.
