Coaching at the Club.

The club has an arrangement with third party coaches who are independent from the club and take full responsibility for the organisation of all coaching activities.

Justin Smith is the lead coach and would be pleased to help  you with all your coaching requirements. Justin's teaches both Juniors and Adults both in Groups and also Individually.

Coaching with Justin

I am a level 4 tennis coach. My coaching philosophy is to develop players that are technically and tactically complete. 

I have competed in nationally ranked tournaments and have been ranked number 1 in Dorset as a Junior. I am passionate about tennis as you can play tennis throughout your entire life. It is a great sport because you can play competitively or with family and friends from any age.

Coaching with Alan

Alan is a very experienced coach and was previously our lead coach. He started playing tennis in 1979 and has competed extensively in Dorset and surrounding counties. He qualified as a coach in 1983 and beyond his work at Bridport his career has included work at Bisham Abbey and Sherborne School for Girls. Following LTA restructuring Alan is now a Level 4 Coach.
