Park courts

We have 21 tennis courts spanning across five parks that you can access all year round.

Canford Park

  • Canford Ln, Bristol BS9 3NX in the heart of Westbury on Trym
  • Comprising of 8 tarmac courts, this is the biggest offering of tennis courts we manage.
  • A lovely Victorian park with children's play park (dog free area), bowling green, tennis courts and football pitches. 
  • Other facilities available in the park include a lily pond and garden, café kiosk and outdoor seating.
  • There are no public toilets at the park.
  • The play area is within Canford Park which can be accessed by entrances on Canford Lane. 
  • There are tarmac paths leading to and within the play area allowing full access by buggies and wheelchairs. There’s a large area of tarmac within the play space for scooters and bikes and skateboards. Access may be difficult around the lily pond and sunken rose garden with steps leading to both.
  • There are no on-site parking facilities but parking is available on the streets nearby.

 

Dingle Close

  • Dingle Close, Bristol BS9 2JP
  • 2 newly renovated tarmac courts in Sea Mills
  • There is no designated car park on site

 

Eastville Park

  • Fishponds Rd, Eastville, Bristol BS5 6XA
  • Comprising of 2 tarmac tennis courts, this is a lovely secluded setting near Eastville and Fishponds.
  • A large Victorian park with a range of facilities 2 miles north-east of Bristol city centre.
  • It is a great place to relax surrounded by a spacious and diverse landscape.
  • There is a large ornamental lake, tennis courts, bowling green, children’s play area, woodlands and wildflower meadows.
  • There are tarmac paths leading to and within the play area allowing full access by buggies and wheelchairs.
  • It connects via the lovely Frome Valley Walkway, to Snuff Mills and Oldbury Court Estate.
  • Public toilets with accessible facilities operated by the City Council are available near the car park in the Upper park. Please note this automatically lock at 6pm.

 

Redcatch Park

  • Broadwalk, Bristol, BS4 2RD
  • Parking - dedicated car park is open at the following times (7 days a week) 7.30am to 4.30pm from 1 October to 31  March, 7.30am to 8pm 1 April to 30  September, car park closed on: Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day
  • Toilet opening times - Monday to Sunday, 7.30am to 4pm. Toilets closed on: Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day
  • Facilities and features - four tennis courts, multi-use games area, two football pitches (bookable on Saturdays and Sundays), outdoor seating, measured route: marked 600m route for walking, jogging or running,  children's play area, shrub beds including herbaceous borders and a wild flower meadow

 

St George Park

  • Church Rd, Whitehall, Bristol BS5 7AA
  • One of Bristol's finest suburban Victorian parks with an original Victorian entrance.
  • Dog-free playground, lake with ducks and swans, large wheels park for BMX, skateboards and scooters, tennis courts, bowling green, where St George Bowling Club and Bristol Omnibus Bowling Club are based.
  • There are tarmac paths leading to and within the play area allowing full access by buggies and wheelchairs.
  • The Bake Box cafe is available at the park with outdoor seating situated near and around the park. 
  • The toilets are open daily from 8am to 6pm.
