We aim to offer an adult coaching programme in groups, for beginners, intermediate and advanced players and, where sufficient demand exists, for our club teams who play in the local leagues.  Adult coaching at the club is intended for club members only. However, non-members may register with us and attend coaching for a higher, non-member rate.

One-on-one coaching is also available for adult members and prospective new joiners by separate arrangement. Please contact Sid Falconer (contact details at the foot of this page) directly.

Wednesday Adult Cardio Tennis:

This course is suitable for adults, and juniors aged 15 and over who normally play with yellow balls.

Unfortunately the Cardio tennis course that started on Wednesday 20th September for 5 weeks has been cancelled due to insufficient take-up.

Friday Adult Beginners / Improvers / Rusty Rackets (generally referred to as 'Adult Improvers'

Friday junior and adult coaching is suspended until further notice. Please see the statement on Coaching in the 'Latest News' item on our Home page.

Please note our cancellation policy for all coaching:

Coaching fees for pre-paid courses are non-refundable for lessons missed or for early withdrawal from coaching, other than for exceptional reasons agreed with the Coach.

Coaching lessons cancelled by the Club or coach, for any reason (e.g. courts out of use, sickness, adverse weather), will be published on our Facebook page, therefore please ‘like’ the Calne Tennis Club Facebook page to ensure that you receive the notices and information about the groups. All pre-paid lessons cancelled in this way will be credited against the next term’s coaching fees or will be refunded.
