We got in the mood for Wimbledon with a fun American Tournament on Sunday 2nd July, raising funds for Sport In Mind in the process.
With a window of sunny weather, a full complement of 24 players enjoyed a full morning of fun, social tennis with a scoring system designed to give everyone a chance. The American Tournament mixed doubles format entails limited games, a limited number of players and everyone playing at once (if the organiser gets the scheduling right!
).

Celine Loader and Danny Edwin prevailed in a final against Holly Ranson and Jonathan de Wind. The on-court action was followed by a sumptuous Wimbledon-themed lunch.
