The Berkshire Tennis 8U county coaches will be holding an Open Day for young players who are keen to progress along their journey in tennis, learning to compete and be part of county training.

The session will be held on Sunday 11th January 2026 at Cox Green Leisure Centre, Maidenhead. 

Key things to consider before signing players up to the free 60 min session:-

• The emphasis of the sessions is tennis fun, parent education and informal assessment led by the 8U County Captain, Rob Flynn and 10U Performance Lead, Nigel Mann.
• Players should be born in 2018 (regularly competing), 2019, 2020 or 2021 (intending/starting to compete in internal/external competitions)
• Players should be playing/training regularly (and looking to increase their training)
• They should be passionate about tennis!

Parents - please speak to your child's coach about their suitability for these sessions.
