Christ's Pieces is a central open space area that lies between Emmanual Road and King Street.
The Piece houses 4 hard court tennis courts, a bowls green and clubhouse, links too and from the shopping areas of the city and large areas of grass area for relaxing or performing leisure activities.
The area also has a small cafe near Drummer Street Bus Station and a children's play park. There are toilets available near the Bus Station.

Parktennis also takes place every Saturday morning between 10-11am on the Jesus Green tennis courts. For more information, please visit the Parktennis website or contact the team at info@parktennis.org.

A charging model is in effect and consists of both off-peak and peak hours daily.
Peak hours operate between 12.15pm - 2.30pm and 6.15pm onwards when available due to daylight hours. Peak courts cost £5 per court.
Off- Peak courts cost £2 per court and available between 7am - 12.15pm, and 2.30pm - 6.15pm.
**DURING WIMBLEDON, ALL COURTS ARE £2**
All courts timings remain at 45 minutes per booking.
Other than Christ's Pieces and Jesus Green, all other council run tennis courts in the city remain free to use. You can turn up and play any time or, to reserve your slot, these can be booked on ClubSpark which gives you priority over those who haven't booked.
Please note, Nightingale Avenue tennis courts are on the gated access system so booking is required however it is free to play.
