Many of you will now be away that Hertfordshire will be in Tier 4 with regards to COVID restrictions from Sunday 20th December.

The LTA has issued the following summary:

UPDATE - New Tier 4 Restrictions

The Government has this afternoon (19 December) announced new Tier 4 restrictions will be introduced in parts of England from 00:01 tonight. We have been in discussion with Department for Culture, Media & Sport to get confirmation of exactly what this means for tennis and can confirm the following for Tier 4 areas:

• Indoor courts, gyms and sports facilities will need to close
• Outdoor tennis courts can remain open for individual exercise, and for people to use with others within your household, support bubble, or with one person from another household
• Organised outdoor sport for under 18s and disabled people will be allowed to continue in larger numbers

This means that Digswell tennis courts will remain open but members are asked to adhere to the above rules.
