Our current sporting season is shortly coming to a close on 31 March and we hope that you have enjoyed playing throughout the year even though the weather has not been too kind of late.

The purpose of this email is to confirm the membership rates for the coming year and outline the membership renewal process for the coming year, as approved by the board.

We will be using the ClubSpark renewals process for membership renewals and each of you will get a specific email to action your renewal, with full details of what to do, how to pay and with a unique link to access your ClubSpark account.

Many of you are already ClubSpark users but for those that aren't the system is accessible through the club's website and we will provide detailed steps and guidance to make it as painless as possible.

As in recent years we are strongly encouraging all members to utilise the online renewal process and to pay using bank transfer.   We will of course assist all members who are not in a position to renew or pay online.   If you have already prepaid for the coming year you should not receive anything further but if you do please let us know.

TERMS, CONDITIONS AND NOTICES

To enable your membership to continue, membership subscriptions are due each year by 31 March, otherwise your membership will lapse after that date.  If you choose to renew your subscription after 31 March, or if you joined during the year, your membership will take effect from the date of payment.  If you choose to pay by monthly Standing Order, instalments may be spread over not more than four months with the first instalment due by 31 March, the final balance becomes due and payable no later than 31 July. Unfortunately, the club is not able to issue refunds for any unused subscription portion.

As a condition of membership, you agree to be bound by the Memorandum and Articles of Association, Bye-laws, Rules and etiquette of the Club/Company.  As a member of East Dorset Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club Limited (a Company Limited by Guarantee registered in England and Wales No. 10465307 and a Registered Charity No. 1171297) your legal liability in a winding up of the Company is limited to £1.

If you have previously been a member and not re-joined and then subsequently play at the club without paying a visitors fee in advance, a subscription for the full year becomes due and payable.  If playing with a guest, you are responsible for the payment of their visitor fee which should be paid in advance of play.

By providing us with your contact details, you agree to receiving messages relating to Club affairs however you are able to unsubscribe from club messages by informing us of your opt out preference. We will not provide your details to any organisation unless required to by law.
