The ladies first team recorded their third straight 4-0 win in their Sussex League match against Southdown 3, last Sunday.

In glorious weather, Gill Luis-Ravelo and Jo Chopping took on Southdown's first pair in the first rubber, taking a comfortable win 6-3, 6-4. Meanwhile, Ros Parker and Sarah Keegan raced away with the first set against Southdown's second pair for the loss of just one game, however the opposition fought hard in the second set but eventually lost the set 7-5, and with it the match.

With the reverse rubbers, Gill and Jo took a very tight first set on the tie-break and then raced through the second set without losing a game. Ros and Sarah played a smart game against the first pair, taking the win 6-3, 6-1.

The first team ladies continue to hold onto the top spot in division 8E.
