Welcome to the Merseyside Open Singles Championships, the hottest tennis tournament of the year! This amateur tennis tournament, which is affiliated with the Liverpool Tennis League, will take place on the 27th and 28th of May at the Eccleston Park Tennis Club.
This is the first year that we're hosting the event, and we're excited to offer you an unforgettable experience. Whether you're a seasoned tennis player or just starting out, we welcome players of all levels to join us for two days of fun, friendly competition on the courts.
There are four entry levels to choose from: Mens Elite, Ladies Elite, Mens Developer, and Ladies Developer. With just under half of the spots already sold for Mens Elite and Mens Developer, and over half sold for Ladies Developer, we encourage you to sign up soon to secure your place.
Entry to the tournament is £15, which includes a delicious lunch provided by our official caterer, and you'll have the opportunity to enjoy live music after the tennis matches. The tournament will be played on artificial clay courts, which are great for any level of player and provide a true-to-life playing experience.
As a part of our partnership with the Liverpool Tennis League, we have an official stringer on hand to help you with any equipment needs. And we're excited to announce that we have an official sponsor, who is generously providing prize money for the tournament. This will help make the event even more exciting, and will help ensure that it's sold out with the potential for qualifying rounds.
If you're not playing in the tournament, we still invite you to come down and watch the matches for free. It's a great opportunity to see some talented players in action, and to enjoy the festive atmosphere of the event.
