We are delighted to report that Flitwick & Ampthill narrowly defeated Luton Vauxhall in a highly competitive encounter to secure the South Beds Championship.

With the Mens and Ladies Singles and Doubles Matches completed the scores were tied at 2 - 2 which left the mixed doubles match to decide the overall Championship.

In a nail biting contest Barbara Mabbit and Tom Cullens played some super tennis to win 6-2 5-7 7-6 and therefore secure the final 3-2.

Congratulations to both Flitwick and Luton for reaching the final and entertaining the many spectators with some amazing tennis.
