A showcase of top quality action and sportsmanship. In the bright sunshine and in spite of a gusty breeze our magnificent finalists produced some exceptional tennis for the many spectators to enjoy.

We were all privileged to witness some highly competitive encounters all played in an excellent spirit.

It was fantastic to see so many members, friends and family coming along to encourage our finalists - your support was much appreciated.

Alongside the terrific tennis a huge shoutout to Leigh Burrows and Adam Learner who treated the spectators to an amazing barbecue with pork rolls, burgers and hot dogs on offer - thank you guys!

Many thanks once again to Barbara Mabbitt for organising and refereeing the tournament, Libby Mabbitt for her wonderful cheesecake and to all of the players, spectators and organisers who helped make our Finals day such a success.

At the end of a very exciting day we said our goodbyes and offered best wishes to our coach Tom Cullens who will shortly commence a new life in Australia. We will all miss you Tom and we wish you every success but what a fabulous way to end your time with Flitwick & Ampthill Tennis Club - as our new Mens Singles Champion!
