COVID-19 Closure of TennisPark at University of Reading

Due to the exceptional circumstances linked to COVID-19 the University of Reading has taken the decision to CLOSE its SportsPark Facilities from 10pm on Friday 20th March 2020 until further notice. The closure is in line with the Government’s guidelines on social distancing to help reduce the spread of COVID-19.

As of 10pm on Friday 20th March, all tennis activities will be cancelled until further notice. This includes all GDTennis coaching, all individual/private lessons, and all competitions/tournaments. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

GDTennis will continue to work closely with the SportsPark and University of Reading to monitor the situation. Updates will be shared on the GDTennis website and also our Facebook page. As we all know, the situation is very changeable currently so making any alternative plans and contingencies is very difficult, however the team here at GDTennis will be looking into possibilities of using nearby venues and be in contact if  anything is possible.
