The WOWS made good use of their weekly tennis coaching session to promote Purple Day - Epilepsy Awareness Day.  Wearing everything from purple hair bows to purple laces they even enjoyed purple cake at break time!  The Chocolate Easter Egg Hamper raffle raised over £100 for this worthwhile cause - congratulations to the winner, Annie Lawton!

One in 103 people have epilepsy and 87 people in the UK are diagnosed with it every day.  Two ladies in the group have family members with epilepsy so they have personal experience of the life-changing affects a diagnosis can bring.
