On Sunday, 15th May as part of the GBTW, 26 keen tennis players were randomly matched up with a partner to play in a Mixed Doubles Tournament.  Heats were undertaken at three courts, the winners of each and the top runner-up met on court to play the semi-finals.  Well done to semi-finalists; Jake & Ali, Chris & Penny, Michael & Annie and Malcolm & Diana (who sadly had to dash but was ably represented by Diwy in the semis).  Unfortunately at this point the brave and the beautiful were knocked out of the game and it fell to Jake & Ali v Chris & Penny to give us all a thrilling final whilst we applauded over a glass of wine and BBQ cooked to perfection by John Andersson.  Congratulations to Jake & Ali who emerged the victors of our first tournament this season.  The sun shone and there was a great atmosphere - what better way to spend a Sunday?!
