Welcome Hemyock Tennis Club

Sunday July 20, Strawberry Tennis 2025

Join us at the Club for an afternoon of enjoyable mildly competitive tennis, fresh strawberries & cream, with some fizz.

our July 20th strawberry tennis social tournament🍓🍓🍓 . For those new to the club and who don't know the format - entrants names are put in a hat and drawn out with a partner (mixed couples as far as possible and the draw isn't totally random, so stronger players aren't put together). The format of the tournament depends on the number of entrants, but there are usually  4  rounds of 7 games and then a final between the top 2 scoring couples. This is followed by a glass or two of bubbly and strawberries. The emphasis is on having fun rather than playing high grade tennis, so don't be shy about entering whatever your standard.
