Summer Days

For our camps we look to offer as many different fun activites and sports as possible. Each day consists of a number of different sports and activites, lasting between 45 mins and 1 hour long. We will always offer tennis at our camps, as well as a mix of other sports. Some days we will also themded days, or longer run activities, alongside our normal sports. Below is an overview of what to expect during Summer 2024*!

 

Wednesday 24th July - American Sports Day!

A day of celebrating American Sports. Children will be put into teams, pick an American State to represent, and try their hand at different sports from the USA! From Basketball, Baseball and even American Football. 

Thursday 25th July - Circus Skills!

A day of Circus Skills! Company Primary Workshops will be running a day of circus skills. From juggling, balancing, diablo's,  children will be able to take part in different classes, and learn different skills related to the Circus!

Friday 26th July - Olympics Day!

To celebrate the start of the Olympics, we will be running an Olympics day, where children will be split into Countries, and compete against each  in many Olympics games to sxcore points for their Country!

Tuesday 30th July - Fruit Smoothies!

Children will get the oppertunity to make their own smoothies from scratch. They will learn how to chop fruit, combine different flavours and taste test the results afterwards!

Wednesday 31st July - Pot Gang!

Children will get the oppertunity to grow their own plants. They can choose between Spincich, Mint and sunflowers, and learn how to plant and look after their own plants. 

Thursday 1st August - NFL Workshop

Children will learn how to American Flag Football from a Flag Football Coach. Learn the rules, practice some skills, and put it all together in fun matches!

Friday 2nd August - Olympics Day!

To celebrate the start of the Olympics, we will be running an Olympics day, where children will be split into Countries, and compete against each  in many Olympics games to sxcore points for their Country!

Wednesday 14th August - Wise Up Mission Possible!

Working together in teams to attempt a variety of challenges, co-ordination, communication and co-operation will be tested and enhanced. Some of the activities target physical strength, others are more aimed at mental ability. All will need teamwork to be completed.Over the course of the day, students work towards solving a top secret mission by gaining clues for every activity they complete. They must try and gather as many as possible and avoid letting key information slip to potential spies.

Thursday 15th August - International Sports Day!

Experience a varierty of fun and new sports from a cross the world! 

Whether its close to home with Gaelic Football, or the other side of the world with Australian Football,  or sports they may never heard of like Tchoukball from Switzerland and Kinball from Canada, children will have loads of fun trying new sports!

Friday 16th August - Battle of the Coaches!

Children will be put into teams, each lead by one of the coaches. They will then represent their coach in games and sports, winning points for their team. Which coach and team will end triumphant?!

Tuesday 20th August - Superhero Day!

A day to dress up as your favorite superhero and use your super powers to aid you whilst playing a mix of sports and games!

Wednesday 21st August - Hakuna Fruitata!

A food workshop where children will learn about healthy eating, living a heslthy lifestyle, and how that can make you feel happier!

Friday 23rd August - Kickboxing Workshop!

A workshop in kickboxing from our friends at Empower Martial Arts! Learn respect, self control and have fun learning kickboxing moves!
