Terms and conditions – Steve Whelan

All lessons are available to rackets members only.

 Lessons are arranged with the coach who is operating as a self-employed professional. The lessons, payments and these agreements are between the coach and the member only and in no way reflect, are managed or enforced by David Lloyd Clubs.

Court bookings are subject to David Lloyd booking policies and procedures.

Private Lessons (casual booking)

• Lessons may be booked 9 days in advance
• All lessons subject to coach and court availability
• Additional players may accompany you at a charge of £5 per player (a maximum of 3) for a lesson

Lessons cost £45 per hour or £30 per half hour

Vouchers

You may purchase a number of lesson vouchers to use for private lessons.

• You can buy a block of 10 or 20 vouchers
• Vouchers come with a three month expiry date from date of purchase
• Lessons may be booked 9 days in advance and subject to coach and court availability
• Vouchers are non-transferable and no refunds given

• 24 hours’ notice is required if you wish to cancel your lesson. Failure to provide 24 hours’ notice will result in a full lesson charge.
• In the event of a coach cancellation, 24 hour notice will be given where possible. If less than 24 hours’ notice is given, a free additional voucher will be issued.

Prices

10 hours - £380.00

20 hours - £500.00 (best value)

Refunds

No refunds will be issued on block bookings and are non-transferable. A block booking is a commitment between the ‘player’ and ‘coach’ for the agreed number of lessons.

Termination of membership / service agreements

In the event of possible termination including

• You terminate your membership at our associated club
• Your coach terminates their agreement with your associated club
• The club terminates either party’s agreement

All outstanding lessons will be refunded under the following conditions

• Lessons refunded based on the per hour rate you purchased your block ie if you purchased ten lesson at £380.00, your per lesson rate would be £38.00
• Refunds under the value of £100.00 will be paid within 7 days of termination
• Refunds will be issued via monthly instalments if over the value of £100.00. This will be arranged on a client by client basis.
