Competitions and Teams

As well as offering social tennis, we offer a number of options for competitive tennis. We run a number of competitions throughout the year, catering for all standards of players. We run box leagues for juniors and adults, have internal singles and doubles knockout competitions, compete in the Surrey Tennis leagues, participate in a local clubs competition (the Millennium Cup) and run Open tournaments with entry through the LTA.

Any member interested in playing for one of the NPLTC teams should talk to our Head Coach David Lovejoy who will be able to advise which team squad would be best for them.

Peter Bentley 2023
After a long days tennis on Sunday 10/09/2023 in temperatures that at times reached 30 degrees Kara and Jack were triumphant in the mixed doubles Peter Bentley event. 10 pairs entered the event at the start of the day and were placed into 2 box leagues with the top 4 qualifying for the ¼ finals. With injuries at the start of the day to Dan and Glen we were fortunate enough to ahev have both Obi and Blaise availbel to stand in and play.

Kara and Jack were pretty much unstoppable all day by first winning all their matches in the box league before beating Annie and Kelvin the ¼ finals and then Charlotte and Paul in the semi-final. In the final stood Charmaine and Michael past Peter Bentley winners and club champions mixed doubles winners, but today belonged to Kara and Jack who won 6-2 in the final.
