We are delighted to now be offering an after school tennis club at Clifton Green Primary School as part of our Schools Tennis Programme.

The class provides the opportunity to learn tennis to lots of children, many of whom are taking tennis lessons for the first time.

Anyone with children at Clifton Green who would like their child/ren to attend, please ask the school, the after school club is free and runs 3.30pm to 4.15pm on Thursdays. Sadly the class scheduled for 1st March has fallen victim to the 'Beast from the East', but it will be back on the week after.

One boy from the class (who is a regular at York Tennis Academy) said "good lesson John, but you didn't teach them topspin, slice, serving, volleys, smashes or drop shots". Plenty of things to look forward to and work on in the next 45 minute lesson and beyond!
