A great red ball competition saw 14 children take part in 7 teams of 2 competing in both singles and doubles.

A great debut performances from William Ingham and Isaac Wass as well as Harry Massey and Viktoria with brothers Theo and Magnus Battersby playing some inspired tennis only narrowly miss out on the semi finals against more experienced opposition.

The semi finals saw the competitive duo of Sam Nellist and Joseph Greaney edge out the Minster school pairing of Thomas Titchener and Will Parry with some great tennis being played allround.

The second semi final saw the debutant pairing of Jacob Lee-Bursnall and Wilfred Buckham fight valiantly against the mighty pairing of Harry Skidmore and Ignacio Lloyd-Moliner.  After a great contest Harry and Ignacio came out on top.

The final saw some great points with Ignacio and Harry edging out Joseph and Sam in a crowd pleasing display of power red ball hitting and tenancious volleying.
