2026 Mixed Singles Ladder

The 2026 Mixed Singles Ladder is now live.

The ladder website shows the current standings, latest results and who players are able to challenge next. It means members can check the ladder online without needing to visit the clubhouse noticeboard.

The starting positions for the ladder were allocated by a random draw and are now reflected on the ladder website.

Players should arrange matches directly with their opponent. The ladder WhatsApp group can be used for ladder questions, finding contact details for other players and posting results once matches have been played.

Match results should be posted in the ladder WhatsApp group within 24 hours of the match being played so that the ladder can be kept up to date.

Self-serve result submission is coming soon. In the meantime, results posted in the WhatsApp group will be added to the ladder.

Details for 2026 Doubles and Singles competitions

The club is running the following competitions in 2026:

1. Mixed Singles Ladder, with a record 21 entrants. View the ladder website
2. Mixed Doubles Handicap, which is a knock-out format.
3. Men's Doubles, with partners drawn, two groups playing round robin, then semi-final and final.
4. Ladies Doubles, with partners drawn. Round robin, then a final. Not handicapped.

Club Tournaments

The club holds regular social tournaments throughout the year as well as more competitive events.

OTC competitive tournaments are:

• Mixed Doubles

• Ladies Doubles

• Men's Doubles

• Mixed Singles Ladder

These are friendly but more competitive tournaments for club members, which culminate in Club Finals Day.

Mixed Doubles Handicap

This is a popular competition open to all members, both senior and junior. The partners for the event are drawn, handicaps are determined and the timetable of matches is set before the start.

Ladies Doubles Handicap

This competition has a similar format to the Mixed Doubles above, but when entries are low, it is run as a round robin rather than knockout.

Singles Ladders

The club runs singles ladders each year, giving members the chance to organise as many singles matches as they want during the summer. The top players then play final matches at the end of the summer to determine the champions.
