Oving Tennis Club

We are a friendly club located in the village of Oving, North of Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.

We welcome players of all ages and standards from the surrounding villages to benefit from our wonderful facilities.

Whether you want to get fit, improve your tennis, play for fun or compete, we have sessions and teams that you can join to achieve your goal and have fun.

Founded in 1993, the club is run by an enthusiastic Committee, constantly seeking to improve the club, its facilities and the opportunities we offer to members.

Members are invited to make the most of our two well-maintained hard courts by attending a club session or reserving a court through our online booking system. The club is active all year round, partly due to the excellent floodlights that illuminate the courts. 

Club sessions:

Sunday: 10.30am - 12pm

Tuesday - 2:00 - 3.30pm Rusty Rackets

Wednesday - 6:30 - 8pm

Club sessions are well attended and you will get the chance to play informal games with other members of all standards.

Coaching

For those who wish to improve their game we offer coaching for juniors and seniors; novices, improvers and experienced players. 

Junior coaching is offered on Saturday mornings throughout the year and at holiday camps in the school holidays.

Saturday Juniors
9 - 10am: 5 - 10 years
10 - 11am: 11 - 18 years

Adult coaching is offered throughout the year in small groups for beginners and inprovers or members can book one to one sessions with the coach.
 

Tournaments

We hold a number of informal tournaments in the spring and summer for players who enjoy slightly more competition. These are usually followed by social events  which are open to all members and their families.

LTA

The club is a member of the Lawn Tennis Association. Members can join LTA Advantage for free which has many benefits for our members including entry to the Wimbledon ticket ballot. 

Oving Village Hall

Oving Village Hall is located next to the courts and is used by the Tennis Club for social and fund-raising events such as Quiz Nights.
