We are opening our Club to non-members as we want to make it as easy as possible to play tennis to as many people as possible and we are calling it Pay and Play and its exactly what is says on the tin - PAY for a court and then PLAY on it.  

You can book and pay for a court online, in 1 hour 30 min time slots. This is available for only £10 per booking slot per court, that's only £2.50 per person if you're playing doubles!!!

We have allocated 2 courts for guest use and they are numbered 9 and 10. These will be available to book during off peak times which runs runs Monday to Friday from 8:30am through to 17:30pm during the Spring/Summer period but during particularly busy periods we may have to allocate them for members and coaching only. But don't worry, the courts are booked through a booking app or via our website so you can pre-plan when you wish to play and once booked it will be allocated to you. We will review the availability times of these courts for the Autumn/Winter period when we may be able to offer weekend availability depending on demand.

It is important that you play on the actual court that you have booked, if you do not you are most likely playing on a court that has been booked by someone else and you will be asked to vacate the court.

Top Tip - the courts allocated for Pay and Play are tarmac courts and do not have floodlights. If you find you are playing on a court with a green or red surface at 9pm under floodlights then you are definitely on the wrong court 😀.

Court 9 - turn left as you enter through the main gate, go by Court 1 on your right and Court 8 on your left. Go up the steps and Court 9 is at the top of the steps.

Court 10 - as you enter through the main gate, continue along the tarmac path that runs through the centre of the Club until you reach the end of the path. Then turn left onto the grass track, up some steps and you have arrived at Court 10.

If you are still unsure where Courts 9 and 10 are then please ask and someone will be able to point you in the right direction.

How to book a court:

We have an automated booking system that enables you to book and pay for courts online.

Firstly, you need to be a registered user of our website in order to access the booking system, once registered you look for available booking slots and pay the appropriate fee, you will get a confirmation email and this can be used to cancel the booking should you need to do so. You can book courts up to 7 days in advance and you can cancel your booking and get a refund upto 1 hour before the booking slot. If you cancel within the final hour of your booking start time we cannot refund your money.

In a matter of minutes you can  be on court.

2. Go to the Court Bookings section of this website here

2. Look for an available Pay and Play slot (scroll right to Courts 9 or 10)

3. Click on the session required

4. Follow the steps through to card payment

5. Receive your confirmation email with full details, and take along to the court when you play

6. Enjoy your tennis and come back for more!!
