The LTA's Open Court Programm is a national programme delivered at a local level made up of; a collaboration of key partners actively promoting & delivering opportunities for disabled people to play tennis through a customer focused approach. The main opportunities available are through disability specific sessions such as: Wheelchair tennis, Visually impaired (VI) tennis; Learning disability tennis, Deaf tennis and open mixed disability sessions. However as a sport we are also expanding our offer into other long term health conditions such as Mental Health and Dementia.

Who is it for?

Are you a disabled person who wishes to play other people with a similar impairment? Maybe you have played a handful of times with family members or friends, or this is your first time?

Whatever your ability, it doesn’t matter – tennis is a sport for everyone! Come and try one of our many Open Court tennis sessions in a variety of tennis venues dotted across the UK.

If you wish to join a tennis venue and play alongside other non-disabled people we recommend you search for your local tennis venue via the main home page.
