Coaching
We offer an extensive year-round tennis coaching programme in Sidmouth for both Adults and Juniors run by Level 3 accredited coaches Sue Wiltshire and Daryl Bass. As Head coach, Sue Wiltshire shall have responsibility for coaching and development activities at the club. Sue and Daryl bring a wealth of experience to the Club and are committed to ensuring that all players, no matter what their age or ability, improve their standard of play and, above all, enjoy their tennis. Private tennis coaching sessions may also be arranged.
Sue and Daryl are also interested in helping to develop junior coaches, and from time to time, they are assisted by Level 3 accredited coach Katie Wiltshire, who was recently awarded 'Devon Young Coach of the Year, 2022'.
In addition to the standard coaching programmes listed below, Sue and Daryl offer holiday camps for juniors during school holidays, arrange friendly fixtures with neighbouring clubs, and encourage all juniors to take part in club tournaments such as the annual Aegon Tournament and Road to Wimbledon.
