Summer Quiz - Friday 25th July

Our quizzes have over the years proved to be one of the best attended social events in the Slinfold TC calendar. This year's summer quiz will take place in the clubhouse on Friday 25th July starting at 7.30pm. The patio and doors will be open from 6.30pm. The quiz will be written and adjudicated by Mark McCord. If you would like to come, then please start to put a team of six or eight together and nominate a team captain. The team captain can then let Jo Marlor know of the names of the people in the team. If you would like to come to the quiz but don't have a full team, no problem at all, please email Jo Marlor joannelmarlor@gmail.com and we'll gladly make up/find one for you.

As regards food, everyone attending the quiz has two options. As a table or as an individual, you can either have fish and chips (or a vegetarian option) or bring your own food. If you BYOF, you can bring whatever you like. You can eat in the clubhouse/patio before the quiz, during or in the break. If on the other hand you would like fish and chips/vegetarian at the break, then please let your captain know who will inform Jo. One important message - please do not bring your own drinks to the clubhouse. There will be a pay-as-you-go bar offering a range of very competitively priced beers, wines and soft drinks - payment is through the card reader.

The cost of the quiz is £3pp which includes table nibbles or £16pp if you are having the fish and chips/vegetarian. Whichever option you choose, please let your captain know by Tuesday 22nd July. Payment to enter the quiz is by bank transfer (this allows non club members who cannot access ClubSpark to pay the club).
