Congratulations to the Ladies’ 2s who topped Division 12 in style — finishing the season unbeaten and dropping only three rubbers across seven matches. A special thanks to Marina and to all the players for representing the club so brilliantly on court and for hosting visiting teams with such hospitality. The four remaining teams successfully held their places in their respective divisions, rounding off a strong win- ter season.

Slinfold TC’s five teams have begun their summer league season with some great results, determined to continue their successful runs in the winter league. We have already had an emphatic win by the Women’s 2nd team, extending their unbeaten streak this year after taking the division title in the winter.

The Men’s 3rd team notched a hard-fought draw in their first match and the 2nds narrowly lost their opener.

The teams are in great spirits after a winter in which all players did a sterling job representing Slinfold. The final placings in that competition were:

Women’s 2s, 1st in Division 11

Men’s 3s, 3rd in Division 12

Men’s 1s, 4th of 7 in Division 5

Men’s 2s, 6th of 8 in Division 10

Women’s 1s, 5th of 7 in Division 6
