The statement on 23 March by the PM clearly instructs the population of England to stay at home other than for essential purposes. The directive is until otherwise notified and is enforceable by the police if necessary. The PM's announcement eliminates any uncertainty relating to continued operations at STC during the covid-19 pandemic. The club will therefore completely close to all activities from midnight tonight (23.03.2020) until further notice.

Your understanding and cooperation in complying with the government directive is both necessary and appreciated. However, I can assure you the club's Management Committee is already in conversation towards a plan to relaunch tennis at STC at the earliest opportunity.
