Throughout the year Sphairistrike Tennis run Multi Sport school holiday camps across our sites. The camps are for children aged between 4-14 years old. Children do not need to have played tennis before, and throughout the week children will participate in different games and activities, and will get the opportunity to play sports such as tennis, softball, football, cricket and volleyball, 'capture the flag' and much more. 

All of our holiday camps are delivered by a lead coach, who will always be an LTA accredited coach meaning they are first aid qualified, hold an up to date enhanced DBS check and will have undertaken LTA safeguarding training. They will also be qualified to teach tennis to a high standard.

Our holiday camps run all through the year, including in winter, so it is important than you send your child with the correct clothing (waterproof clothing if the weather is bad and hats and suncream if the weather is good). We will continue to play outdoors during light to moderate rain. When the weather is bad, and there is heavy rain, the children will go indoors and complete activities inside until the rain stops. 

Parents have the option to book their children onto our camps for the full week (Monday to Friday), or individual full days or halfs days (morning or afternoon). We offer a discounted rate if you book your child into the camp for the full week and we also offer a sibling discount. 

For children who are staying all day, they will require a packed lunch. All children who will be in attendance at the morning session should also bring a snack with them for breaktime. Please also ensure your child brings a water bottle with them to stay hydrated throughout the day.

May Holiday Camps

Our May Holiday Camps is now available to book online. We will be delivering 3 days holiday camps at ASTLEY & TYLDESLEY  TENNIS CLUB on Wed 29th, Thu 30th and Friday 31st May. 

EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT Friday 10th May, after which, there will be a slight increase in price. We are also offering sibling discount. 

We have a maximum capacity of 30  children per day for our holiday camps, so it is advised that you book early to avoid dissapointment. 

SUMMER HOLIDAY CAMP DATES

We have finalised our Summer Holiday Camp Dates for both venues. We will be running 2 weeks at Newton-le-Willows Tennis Club and 3 weeks at Astley & Tyldesley Tennis Club. Dates are advertised below via the photo. 

You can pay for our holiday camps online only, using our secure payment platform 'Stripe' who are the official payment platform of the LTA. 

Sibling discount is available for more than 1 child from the same household. We offer 15% discount as our EARLY BIRD offer and 10% discount as our regular offer. 

General Itinerary for our holiday camps:

8:45 to 9am - Drop off and registration

9am to 10:40am - Morning sports and activities (change on a daily basis) 

10:40 to 11am - Break time

11am to 12:15pm - Mid morning sports and activities (change on a daily basis) 

12:15pm to 1pm - Morning session only children to depart. Lunchtime for children who are staying all day. 

1pm - Afternoon session only children to arrive 

1pm to 4pm - Afternoon sports and activities (change on a daily basis). 

4pm - Pick up for all children
