We’re excited to bring you news of the  2026 social calender

Last Thursday of the Month Summer MIX IN BBQ Evenings 2026

Thursday 28 May, Thursday 25 June, Thursday 30 July, Thursday 27 August

Introduced to the club in 2025.. these proved very popular...  up to 7 courts on the go with mix ins... whilst the social team get the BBQ sizzling...  bring along your own simple to cook bbq food ,  play some tennis, and get your family to join in too. 

Lynette & Tim Clarke with help from others will get the BBQ sizzling from about 6pm and Rachel Maunder and Chair Andrew Carnegie keep the games flowing  and Jez Pigden will again add the 'icing on the cake' with his amazing DJ skills and great music selection.  

Bring your own simple, quick and easy to cook food for the BBQ and whatever you'd like to drink.  Please bring everything you need so plates, knives and forks etc exactly as you would to a picnic and be sure to take all your rubbish (so bring a bin bag) and bottles away with you as there is no facility to dispose of all of this at the Club. 

All welcome, including friends and families of all ages, whether playing or not. Extra  VOLUNTEERS always needed to help the voluntary committee run these events - please let us know if you are willing to help in any way with the social events that make your club so special!

Finals day in 2026 ... date tba

Lots of members come along to join us for a wonderful day  in mid September 2025 to see our talented finalists battle  it out for one of the coveted SLTC Trophys.  The competitors will have been busy playing their games over the past couple of months - with all participants enjoying taking part, whether winning or losing! We hope more of you can participate in to the run up to this event  in 2026- and that perhaps we can look forward to some new faces in the finals!
