Safeguarding and Policies

At Birmingham Parks Tennis, delivered by MicroSports in partnership with Birmingham City Council, we are committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for everyone who takes part in our programmes. To support this, we have a range of policies and guidance in place which set out our standards and responsibilities.
These policies cover areas such as safeguarding, complaints, risk management, health and safety, and data protection. Together, they ensure that our activities are delivered to the highest standards of safety, transparency, and good practice.
We encourage all players, parents, volunteers, and partners to familiarise themselves with these documents, which are available below.
SAFEGUARDING
MicroSports, in partnership with Birmingham City Council, acknowledges its duty of care to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and adults at risk. We are committed to ensuring that safeguarding practice is fully in line with legislation, statutory guidance, and Birmingham City Council safeguarding procedures, while also complying with best practice and LTA requirements.
Parents and legal guardians remain responsible for their children when using Birmingham Parks Tennis courts, and children should not be left unsupervised.
If you believe that a child, young person, or adult is in immediate danger or at risk of harm, please call 999.
