Fairway Group Family Tournament rounds off a great week of tennis!

The Fairway Group Family Tourmanent rounded off a great half term of tennis last week which saw lots of children on court over the course of 6 days. 76 players competed in the tournament, whilst 55 children took part in the camps, 18 of whom played in the under 8/9s mini red/orange competitions on the Friday and Saturday mornings respectively. For some, this was there very first experience of competition outside of term time tennis groups.

Over the weekend, the older age groups also took place with the tournament culminating early on Sunday afternoon. There was also an award for the The Tennis Hub Player of the Tournament which was awarded to Annie Mossop for playing in 2 age groups (8s and 9s) and showing great attitude.
