Tennis with a view!

Situated on Belgrave Road close to the seafront in Torquay Abbey Park has 5 tennis courts to hire.

Abbey Park must be one of the finest locations on the English Riviera for playing a friendly or competitive game of tennis, with stunning lush green surroundings, and spectacular sea views its hard to find a better court. 

Open all year round from 9am (10am during the winter months) until dusk, with equipment hire and a restringing service available. 

Abbey Park tennis courts were first established in 1921, they were the venue for a Davis Cup match in 1924 and have previously hosted the Torbay Open Tennis Tournament.

5 courts onsite, all newly surfaced are set agsint the backdrop of Torquay seafront. There is access to a cafe, public toilets as well as a large open playspace, golf pitch and putt course, crazy golf and lesuire facilities. There are two pay to stay car parks located at Abbey Park. 

These courts are operated by Torbay On the Move and are managed by a booking and gate access system. The courts can either be booked for 1 hour for £6 or you can purchase the Torbay Park Tennis annual pass for £35 to entitle anyone in your household to book the courts for one year for no additional cost.
