Welcome to WST Schools section

By way of an introduction.. WST (2018) initially set out to become the ‘go to’ provider of all things Tennis (coaching and competition)  at venues throughout Wakefield. Our goal being to put a tennis racket in the hand of every child in the area. Between us we have over 25 years of experience in delivering school class participation sessions with reception to year six classes. 

However, in time we realised that our goals changed. We now aim to

• To provide a variety of opportunities for participation in sport. Team and Individual formats.
• To equip a child with self-confidence through feelings of achievement and accomplishment.
• To enable children to meet their daily SIXTY minutes of activity quota.

To date we have created strong links with schools, which we see as an essential element of achieving this, and have a reputation for delivering high quality sessions, enjoyed by all participants. All members of our coaching team are fully qualified/DBS checked, with  experience of  working  with a wide range of age groups including KS1 and KS2 children. All equipment can be provided for the following:

• School Health weeks
• Afterschool Clubs 
• Disability Sessions

• Basketball
