INAUGURATION OF NEW FLOODLIGHTS

The installation of our new LED lights is now complete, and they were given their first full outing at our Thursday mix-in. Everyone agreed how much better the lighting now is. Thank you to everyone involved, and particularly Gareth who gave so much of his time to manage the installation and make it happen!

Another benefit is that the LED lights will lower our electricity bill significantly so we are putting the cost of floodlights DOWN!
The cost will go back to £6 a court, tokens £1.50 each. If you have a stock of tokens at the old price, do get in touch with Carol to work something out. Please ensure you have your tokens before playing.

INTERESTED IN GOING TO WIMBLEDON 2025?

Do you want the possibility of going to Wimbledon next year? Tickets are available through the public ballot which will be opening in September. However, to enter the ballot you must be a member of  LTA Advantage. For those of you who are not already members, please do join. Juniors can join too and be in the ballot.

It gives other benefits as well as access to Wimbledon tickets. By linking your name to the Club,  as a member you are able to join the ADVANTAGE PLAY +  for FREE, or by paying a £20 fee for ADVANTAGE FAN +  you can gain extra benefits, such as access to Wimbledon tickets returned for resale . Those who are already members can pay the £20 add-on fee for this benefit by going into their account. Tickets are always offered in pairs.

QUIZ NIGHT

Advance notice of a date for your diary. We are holding a Charity fund raising social evening with a quiz and buffet supper on Saturday 5th October @ 7pm in Walton Village Hall. Funds raised will be shared with the Alzheimer's Society in memory of Brian Nickolls who sadly died last year. Tickets are £15 per person and can be paid for in the club bar or online to the club's acount. Open to members and non-members.
