Safeguarding
Woodlands Tennis Club is an LTA-registered venue and we recognise our moral and statutory responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of all children (anyone under 18) and adults at risk. We are fully committed to ensuring our safeguarding practices meet statutory responsibilities, follow government guidance, and comply with LTA standards.
We prioritise the well-being of children and adults at risk, providing a safe and welcoming environment where everyone is respected and valued. We are vigilant for signs of abuse or neglect and follow clear procedures to ensure that anyone at risk receives effective support and protection.

Our Safeguarding Commitment
Our rules and policies exist to:
- Protect children and adults at risk (including children of adults who use our services) from harm.
- Provide clear information to help everyone meet their safeguarding responsibilities.
- Ensure good practice and high safeguarding standards across the club.
- Demonstrate our commitment to safeguarding at all times.
These policies apply to anyone who plays, coaches, officiates, works, volunteers, or otherwise participates in or visits our club.
Safeguarding policy documents can be downloaded from our website and are also available to view in the clubhouse.
Child Supervision
In line with our Safeguarding Policy, children under the age of 13 using the courts outside of organised coaching or activities are supervised by a parent or known adult.
