Yarm Tennis Club

An award-winning club with nine outdoor courts

Founded in 1921, we have grown into one of the region’s leading outdoor tennis clubs, with ~400 members, and being named ‘Club of the North’ in 2022 and coming runner-up in the 2023 regional awards.

The club caters to all ages and abilities, with plenty of opportunities to play tennis recreationally or competitively. Keep reading to find out what we can offer, how to get involved, or to find a membership option that suits you.

Exceptional facilities, on and off the courts

We have six all-weather and three acrylic courts, with floodlights illuminating six courts so the action never stops, even during winter!

Off the courts we have a spacious clubhouse with a well-equipped kitchen, changing rooms with showers, and a licensed bar for members of the Tennis, Squash, and Cricket clubs which hosts social events throughout the year.

Plenty of opportunities to play

Members and non-members can easily book a court and dive straight into the action.

We also run three weekly social sessions for members of any ability, plus a weekly team practice session for members who wish to participate in the Cleveland Leagues.

If you want to play competitively, we’ve got that covered too! We have teams in every division of the Mens, Womens, and Mixed Cleveland Leagues, we also run several annual tournaments through the summer and a club championship which are all open to all members.
