ADTL GRANT SCHEME

As discussed at the 2025 AGM the ADTL Committee is delighted to launch our new Club Grant Scheme.

The League has accumulated surplus funds and would like to put these to positive use for the benefit of our member clubs. Any one of our clubs can apply to support initiatives such as improving facilities, enhancing participation and fostering community engagement.

The Grant Scheme is open now for applications. Full details on the scheme, including application criteria and the application form, can be found on our website:  GRANT SCHEME

Alongside this, the Committee is also proposing a simple change to the ADTL Constitution to clarify that the Committee is the relevant body for making decisions in the respect of the allocation of ADTL funds and management of its finances. The Constitution does not currently address this issue, so the proposed wording rectifies this.

The proposed Constitution wording is set out below. This will be on the agenda for consideration at the League AGM in November.

We hope that this update is helpful and please contact any member of the Committee with any questions on the above.

Best wishes

Paul Vicary

ADTL Chairman

PROPOSED WORDING FOR ADTL CONSTITUTION CHANGE

“As an unincorporated association, committee members are responsible for the ADTL finances and are authorised to make financial decisions for the administration and running of the league. In the event that the ADTL has surplus monies, the committee may operate a scheme for providing funds to ADTL tennis clubs and their communities, based on LTA funding principles.”
